Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB)

ARTELCO is proud to announce that we participate in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB). This is a TEMPORARY program that allows up to a $50.00 discount on Broadband service. ARTELCO’s Tier 1 (5mg) program will be free or the Tier 2 (10mg) program will be discounted $50.00 and you pay only $9.99 a month. TELEPHONE SERVICE IS REQUIRED. Telephone Service is discounted up to $7.25 For those who qualify through the Lifeline Program. If you are a current Lifeline participant, you will need to go to the www.USAC.ORG website and qualify for the Broadband service. You will be given a Qualifying ID number and will need to contact our office so that you may be entered.

All new customers will be required to apply and pay a $50.00 deposit + $40.00 connection fee for the telephone service. A two-year contract is available for the Broadband that waives the installation and equipment fee OR you may pay this $100.00 fee and not be obligated to a 2-year contract.

A signed disclaimer is required in our office stating that you understand this is a temporary government program at which time either the funds run out or 6 months after the department of health & human services declares an end to the covid-19 emergency is up that your broadband service will return to the regular rate.

Beginning May 12th, consumers may apply to receive benefits from the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program.  The online application form, as well as printable versions of the application form and instructions, are now available at GetEmergencyBroadband.org.
